I'm wondering if anyone has tried to visualize DL-2s or DL-3s in MA 3D?

Since they have the media server built into the fixture, what is produced in MA 3d? A beam of light you can color? Or is it able to give you some video output?

Thanks in advance. I haven't had a chance to try and get a showfile together to tinker around, but would appreciate anybody's experience and advice.
