I've been using 3d and onpc on the same computer with good results on my desktop PC. However, now that I'm trying this out on my laptop, 3d's frame rate is incredibly slow. Both computers have the exact same specs (i5 quad core processor, 8 GB ram) with the exception of my laptop having integrated graphics and my desktop has a dedicated video card. Is that the issue? Does 3d need a dedicated video card?
Other than that, are there some good ways make 3d any faster? I've been messing around with the rendering options on 3d to try and make it lighter on the system with some results, but it's still pretty unusable.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
